Culling going on in Tripura
|
For the second time in last one year, culling of poultry birds are being conducted at a farm at Lambuchara, about 25 kilometers from here today. The process will be followed in a 3-sqaure kilometers area around the farm. The culling was supposed to be carried out yesterday, but for some machines and shortage of menpower, it would not be done, said sources.
That has been the fourth time bird flu attacked the state.

Bomb explodes in Imphal, no casualt
|
Imphal, Jan 26 (IBNS): A powerful bomb was exploded on the Republic Day by suspected militants at the capital complex here, but no one was hurt.
The explosion on Wednesday reportedly took place around 9 a.m. in the morning near Shamashakhi School area.
The explosion occurred on a day when Imphal along with the rest of the country is celebrating the 63rd Republic Day.
